Name: Rufus Scrimgeour D.O.B.: September 23, 1947 Blood Status: Pure-blood Height: 6’4” Weight: 181 lbs Hair Colour: Tawny Eye Colour: Amber Wand: Olive, 13”, phoenix feather core  A former Gryffindor, Rufus Scrimgeour embodies courage and boldness. Scrimgeour was described by Albus Dumbledore as being a “man of action,” and this accurately sums Rufus up. He has a strong sense of right and wrong and knew early on that he wanted to join the Ministry of Magic as an Auror. Level-headed and polite, Rufus is generally easy to get along with – unless you cross him. As a student, Rufus made excellent grades and played Quidditch for the Gryffindor team as a Beater; he was also a Prefect. Rufus left Hogwarts with Os on all of his required N.E.W.T. level courses and was accepted into the Auror program. Scrimgeour quickly proved his worth as a member of Magical Law Enforcement and eventually rose to become head of the Auror Office. There are rumors that Rufus may accept the post of Minister for Magic when Cornelius Fudge steps down. |
